FireFall Sculpture Outside the 4th Floor Expo Hall
Gaming conventions for me are more social events than anything–for meeting new friends and renuniting with old ones who live too far away to see on a daily basis–so I’m pretty freaking tired.
I’ve got a lot of footage, photos and notes to go through tonight. I tried to go through it last night, but I ended up falling asleep on the couch.
Go me.
So in the mean time, say ‘hi’ to 3PO:
We Found The Droids We Were Looking For At Major Nelson’s Podcast
*EDIT: Last night I was informed of a friend’s passing. Needless to say, I did not get the opportunity to go through my notes. Extra Lifestyle should be posted no later than Wednesday. I apologize for the further delay.
**EDIT: I lied. Please tune in next Monday for the segment regarding Pax Prime. While I know the world stops for no one, this part of my world can stop for a week. And at least one part of the world needs to pause if just to say, “This is hard. And I miss you.” So there you have it. Jarrod Newton, you were a loyal friend with a constant sense of humor and you were too young to go. I wish I could say more on the matter but I think it’s best–especially for writers–to signify something’s importance with a few words and silence. There is nothing to say but simply, “I miss you.”
