SCC goes to Sakura-Con
I have learned the Keith Takashi, Art History teacher at Shoreline Community College will be one of the speakers at Sakura-Con .
I have a new found respect for the funny man who makes art history fun for me 5 times a week. I mean seriously, first he plays excerpts of Monthy Python’s Life of Brian to illustrate the symbolism of the Catholic church in Renaissance paintings, then he said that he would try to get some students tickets to the con? This dude rocks.

I’m impressed that a teacher is willing to shuck out $45 a pop (or $60, if he doesn’t get it by February 28th) for his students.
Because there’s no way he’d get those tickets for free.
