PSP Lite?
Much like Nintendo did with the DS, Sony which has been rumored to be working on a new version of the PSP have finally revealed some details.
The infrared port is gone but they have added a TV output component. There will be a new LED screen that will be more clear and will also render the image more crisply. The screen will also take up less space making more room for the new and improved D-Pad which in turn will resemble more the one used on the PS3. The portable device will come with 8GB of internal flash drive space, and despite low sales in the UMD department, it will still be available, only much faster to cut down on load times.
Rumors around the web (such as here) make speculation as to the possibility of having a built in camera.
No name for the device has been chosen so for and Sony is hoping for a release in late August, early September.
