Did You Know?
Funny when its my mom who’s the one that points me into the direction of a video that seemed pretty interesting. The short, thought provoking film shows global statistics as well as estimates that relate to the ever changing world that we inhabit. According to the website that is made for the video (http://shifthappens.wikispaces.com/) it is meant to make us think about how to prepare ourselves, and our students, for the 21st century. The version I was sent is an updated one from the first video, which was made in early 2007. Both can be found on YouTube by typing “Shift Happens,” but embedding them here seemed like a good idea as well.
