Geek vs Life

Back when I used to do a lot of gaming, we used to make character sheets for people we knew, people we’d like to know, or just people that stood out. There’s something comforting about being able to reduce people down to a series of numbers.

Over at Wired, they’ve done a tribute to Gary Gygax in the form of reader rolled character stats for celebrities such as Steve Jobs, Stephen Hawkings, and other non-Steves, in classic AD&D style. It’s pretty fun.

Though, we usually used White Wolf style character sheets when we rolled each other, ’cause, you know, that’s how we roll.
