Why am I doing this?

By Jon

Because you can never have too much Vestibules in your diet. THAT’S why.

Super Mario World hands-free custom level: The Musical

By Jon

Awesome custom made video that requires no effort on the users part. Just, sit, watch and enjoy the show. Beautiful simply beautiful what some people with too much free time can end up doing. How many hours did it take do do this 11 minute video? Only the creator know, but dammit it was worth it.

Added bonus question: Can you identify all the mystery songs represented?

New “Gorgeous tiny chicken machine show” every friday!

By Jon

One of GVL’s favorite online videos (ok mine really) has always been the Gorgeous Tiny Chicken Machine Show. The show was recently added to the CSpot, a Sony TV humor channel and will be adding new shows every Friday.

This weeks new episode heralds the long overdue return of fan favorite Rick Pope (or Lick Poop if you’re a purist). Oh and Kiko makes a movie with Ron Jeremy.

GTSMS is a spoof of a Japanese Talk show starring and written by Kim Evey (from “Almost Live”) in the role of Kiko and is directed by her husband Greg Benson (star of a “buttload of commercials“).

Lets clap hands and cheering!!

Mario GTA

By Jon

Wouldn’t it be great if some games could merge? Imagine for a sec that you could add Samus to Zelda or Sonic to Kirby.

For your viewing pleasure, what if Mario and Luigi ventured into Vice City (from GTA)?

Sorry for the delay…

By Joe

We got a ton of video footage from PAX this year, and our honored video tech guy, Justin, has produced two more pieces for your perusal. One of our antics with vast amounts of Top Ramen (official food of the GVL when we have absolutely nothing else) and the other is a condensed and filtered version of the PA Create-A-Panel that Gabe and Tycho put did for the yearly live comic.

Oh, and please ignore my voice.

+3 to INT when checking potty ettiquette

By Jon

Children.

They have to learn how to listen to their bodies. It’s a skill that needs to be acquired.

But how can you help them on their quest of defeating the porcelain villaness? Level them up sufficiently to make them master the skill set needed to strike their target with no fail? Roll sixes as they venture into the dungeon of the potty room?

Make them watch Japaneses instructional videos, of course…

Geeks Like Music: PAX Edition

By Jon

For some reason this hasn’t been posted yet, despite the fact it was uploaded a week ago. I give you:

The first GVL PAX video!

Many thanks to Justin and Ryan for tagging along with us and making this awesome video. You guys rock almost as hard as the Mini Bosses. More videos are scheduled to be uploaded soon. Sorry for all the technical delays. We’ll do better next year.

Because there’s never enough AvP…

By Gorf

As if the end of AvP didn’t hint like a Clue-By-Four about an upcoming sequal.

IGN has released the Aliens Vs. Predator - Requiem movie trailer.

It appears they held nothing back on this one and rightfully earned their R-rating. I’m hoping, and think I may have seen in the trailer, that the Predalien (which would be hatched from the end of AvP) will be in this one. They could either make it look amazing or totally blow it, but I am definitely looking forward to making an event of going to see this movie.

How to be Emo

By Jon

Brilliant video on how YOU can be an emo kid too. I think it’s sad that I recognize so many of my friends in this. Ok fine, I recognize myself in this.

Tesla Music

By Jon

I vote Joe should make one. Anybody second the vote?

Viral videos will rot your brain

By Jon

Sometimes, I just want to share the insanity of the world with everyone.

Just try not singing along after the first minute. After seeing this video for the first time today, this joke on Family Guy makes total sense.

Geeks like geeky challenges

By Jon

A challenge to my fellow geeks, can you name ALL the video games in the video bellow? This might require some research…

Don’t be afraid

Ok, so I’m a little afraid. My friend Kristen posted this to her bulletin on Myspace, and well, it darn well deserves to be shown worldwide do to it’s total AWESOMENESS.

It’s an entire Filipino prison population re-enacting Michael Jackson’s Thriller. (There’s even the, er…, “girl” from the video. Eww.)
