For those of you who can’t read it, the text is as follows:

“THE first divorce directly related to the September 11th terrorist attacks has been filed in New York. It appears a guy with an office on the 103rd floor of the World Trade Centre spent the morning at his girlfriend’s apartment with his phone turned off. He wasn’t watching TV either. When he turned his phone back on at about 11am, it rang immediately. It was his hysterical wife, “Are you OK? Where are you?” He said, “What do you mean? I’m in my office of course!”

I’m definitely staying away today.

Apparently, the company has decided to protest overexcessive packaging by… having their employees come to work in nothing but their aprons today, for about a half hour (the PI’s blog said it was at noon today).

O-kay…

Any of you boys who live down near the city go down to see this? I’m afraid that if I had’ve been working today, and it was up at my mall, I would’ve turned around and went home, calling into work saying that I was too offended by the inappropriateness to come into work.

I’ll admit it. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is my favorite movie. No, it’s more like a security blanket in celluloid. So, imagine my rage when I found out there was going to be a remake my heart was going to break. When I found out that MTV was going to be in charge, my heart shattered.

Aren’t movie goers tired of going to see recycled redone and often worse than the original movie?

Remakes after a few decades or when the original is out of print don’t bother me as much. But you can not only buy RHPS on DVD or VHS, you can also still see it in many theaters across the country and even other countries. A remake does not need to be done. Worst still, most of the main cast is still alive. (Tim Curry would still be fabulous in drag after all these years!)

And MTV? You’ve got to be kidding me? They haven’t been about music since the early 90s. It’s been about promoting people with little talent and bad make up. They wouldn’t handle it with the care it deserves. They’d probably push Paris Hilton and Chad Michael Murray in their undies in front of Pete Wentz (Because Marilyn Manson turned it down) While Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen do a shockingly convincing incestuous Riff Raff and Magenta.

Does the mere thought turn your stomach yet? Then go to Stop The Remake Sign the petition and feel a little better.

The whole spectacle of a RHPS remake is going to be disgusting and way over priced. With any luck MTV will drop this and movie on to do “Paris’ Spirituality Hour” or maybe “Brittany Watch ‘09″

Then buy their albums and t-shirts in triplicate because these guys seriously rock and are genuinely really nice people. All we want to do is eat your brains indeed.

The following year, Returning Omeganaut Will “LeRoy” Garroutte defeated David “Davertron” Davis in the final round of the Omegathon: Tetris.
Pineapple Express

It’s a Cheech and Chong movie mixed with buddy-cop movie.
Kinda funny, more so when baked. As they were when they made it. At this point I’d probably watch a period piece if these guys were involved.
If you’re still unsure, Pineapple Express is about weed. Hence, it will make more money on video.

I’ve been pondering a few things (some of them while starving myself for 5 days due to a parasite of some sort).

Let’s try a discussion here:

-No surprise here, Casual games are geared towards a largely growing market of middle aged women with possibly too much time on their hands. I’m not trying to say it like it’s a bad thing though. My concern is that the companies are making the games TOO CAT FRIENDLY. If I were to leave my laptop on with Bioshock running, my cat would stay the fuck away. The pretty landscapes and southing Jazz of Bejeweled 2 seems akin to catnip. Discuss.

-Last February, someone commented on how the “companies” want you to buy in to the whole “valentine’s” day crap and buy your loved ones candy. Now I am far from being a business major, but the opposite would seem to be more logical. Promote individuality, promote being single, promote it en masse. Why? Two consumers are better than one. In a couple or in a household all you need is ONE TOASTER (for example, of course). Individually, you all need one. Think about it, if you just moved in with someone, chances you had to get rid of some stuff because your partner had a better/cutter one. If the relationship ends, you’ll be forced to buy that precious little tea kettle all over again. Now I might be taking a leap here and forgetting about stuff like the housing market, but to save the national economy, we should all become hedonistic polygamists. Discuss on how it relates to everyone owning their very Xbox360.

The end for now.
