iPhone-phone=awesome

By Joe

ipodtouchmic

So, it’s probably on its way:  The long awaited iPod touch with a microphone and camera. Rumors are everywhere.  I for one, am extraordinarily excited.  I’ve been fighting the urge to get an iPhone, and what I’ve been wanting is one without a phone plan.  With some creative work, it’s doable, and on a non-AT&T plan!

We’ll post more when things are confirmed, but the rumor mill is churning with some pretty reliable sources.

Who needs any further proof that cats are EVIL!!!

MEEOWNOW Yeah, he looks all cute and cuddly, but this sinister little excuse for a pet is controlling your mind! The University of Sussex has released a study that confirms that cats use a higher pitch purr in order to affect your mind so that you feed them.   This has the same mental effect on a human as a crying baby (which just so happen to also be masters of villainy!). No wonder my wife likes cats. They have control of her mind!

Maybe I should buy a pitbull in order to put those mini dictators in their place. “Whats that fluffy?  You demand food?  Ok, Sick em Rusty!”

Yeah.  I’m feeling that one.

By Jon

Just read this over on Joystiq, apparently, you will be able to join in on the action right in the middle of a song in Guitar Hero 5 (Guitar Hero World Tour 2). No more waiting for the song to end if you just walked in, just pick up your axe and play. Also having one of those days when everyone wants to play guitar? No problem. You can play any instrument, at any time. Talk about flexibility.

Part of the fun of watching videos online is to be entertained, obviously. This next video leaves me feeling kind of dirty and violated. I have no idea what just happened. First there was Pong, then there was Pac Man, fast-forward a few minutes and   Inky and Blinky are having sex Then again, maybe it was Pinky or Clyde, I have no desire to re-watch the video to find out.). Just watch it and comment.

Bargain Gamer or How I survived and managed to continue buying videogames which saved my sanity preventing me from going postal and trying to GTA myself a new car while waiting for the bus on Aurora Ave N despite the economic crisis.

Games are expensive, we all know the drill. With new games running you up an average of $60 a pop, it’s hard to pluck down that hard earned cash on something that you “think” you’ll really enjoy. I’m sure that all of us have made at least a few purchases that after a few hours of playing, we’d rather have spent that money on cheese.

My best solution is to wait a few weeks to see if people still are willing to return them to Gamestop for half of their worth (not my fault people are dumb) or check out this site I’ve been stalking for the past few weeks: http://www.gamedealdaily.com/. Right now their deals range from $14.99 for Guitar Hero World Tour to $59.95 for a package deal which includes: 4,000 XBL Marketplace points, Saints Row 2 and Halo Wars 3 DLC codes.

If you can hold off on buying something new, it’ll pay off to be patient.
